Using Acne Cream For Zits

acne cream imageThere are too many times when we are anticipating a big event that the sudden unwanted zit appears. Just as the big moment approaches, whether its a wedding, a high school graduation, a prom, a first date, a job interview, or any occasion where first impressions count the unimaginable happens. And it this that keeps the acne cream companies in business.  The zit, of course, is of the kind and size that you'd want to lance and medicate with the acne cream that really works as soon as possible -- if not in an hour at least overnight.

What Skin Type Need Which Acne Cream

Acne creams do work. They do work, but don't expect miracles. For example, you need to consider what kind of skin you have and which acne cream or product is appropriate -- and fast-acting:

  • If you have oil skin,  it is best to use  a medicated acne product or one in gel form.
  • If you have dry skin, the appropriate solution would be the acne product in a cream form with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.
  • If you have combination skin which has oily areas as well as dry,  you will need to apply gels to the oily areas of skin, and acne creams to the dry areas.
  • If you have sensitive skin, you will need less intense concentrations of either dry, oily, or combined-type treatments.
  • If you have painful skin due to the acne, you should seek attention from a dermatologist.

It is good advice to do your best to relax when you are faced with these types of situations. Acne seems to appear and is aggravated because of stress or touching the face. Excessive oil production brought on by work, sweat, and anxiety only make the acne worsen.

So, in conclusion, study the pattern your acne outbreaks take. See your skin specialist who will probably have suggestions to help you avoid the acne outbreaks. There are some who opt for make-up if all else fails.
